Wajiha Shahid

I am Dr. Wajiha Shahid, an Assistant Professor and Social Work Researcher with a Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Karachi. My academic journey includes an M.A. and B.A. (Hons) in Social Work, where I was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence. With a deep passion for community development, social policy, and education, I have dedicated my career to teaching, research, and social welfare initiatives.

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES, Karachi, and have previously served as a Teaching Associate at the University of Karachi and Visiting Faculty at Bahria University. I am actively involved in field advisory roles for organizations like HRCP, HANDS Karachi, and Ida Rieu School for the Blind & Deaf.

My work is recognized through numerous research publications in national and international journals, focusing on public health, social media impact, disaster management, and education for underprivileged communities.
